Shawn Goff, Goff Construction, LLC, was the contractor for a 120 unit apartment complex constructed in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The construction project was approximately $10,000,000 and was completed in 2011. The property, Claysville Landing Apartments, was completed on schedule and the cost was within budget. Shawn was honest and a pleasure to work with, and we certainly would use him on any further construction projects.

Shawn was extremely professional from the first time we met him when he checked out the space and the blueprints to the last day after we had already opened our studio. Shawn was adamant about making sure that the build out was done the way that we wanted it. Shawn checked in with us on numerous occasions making sure that we were happy with the progress and to answer any questions that we had. I am not a visual person and had difficulty choosing some of the options that came along with the build out and Shawn was very helpful and gave great advice on colors finishes. Every team that Shawn brought in to take care of heat, plumbing, framing and painting did an excellent job. I would definitely use Shawn Goff Construction Company again and would recommend them to friends and family.

My accountant recommended Shawn Goff to me when I was looking for a building constructor to finish my office basement at the Children’s Clinic in Elizabethtown. I was looking for someone who can do a good job at the right price and when I met Shawn for the first time, I got the impression of a man who can be trusted. I discussed my plans with him and shortly after, he secured the contract to build the office space.
Shawn and his team went to work. The professionalism and workmanship displayed was impeccable. The project proceeded smoothly on schedule and within reasonable budget estimates.
My wife and I were really impressed on this work (and so was our tenant) that shortly after we got him to do some home improvements for us. We had a big project planned for our backyard involving fixing a collapsing retaining wall, new metal fencing, drainage problems, building an elevated terrace and some major landscaping. It was a formidable job as I saw it, but again he was a good listener. I conferred with him a number of times, gave him my ideas in sketches which eventually became a reality. I trusted him enough to get the whole project right, even if we had to leave his team alone for our two week vacation.
Again, Shawn proved that he knew his craft. He finished an impressive job by getting his team and a number of subcontractors to work on schedule despite the rains. The outcome met our expectations with utmost satisfaction, for which we remain ever grateful. I will not hesitate to recommend Goff Construction for any building project, big or small. Keep it up, Shawn!
